Sr Cynthia Pais

In 1967, the management decided to upgrade the famous Gulabi Primary School into the High School.

Sr Fides was the one who helped realizing this decision. Mr Sebastian Joseph was the first headmaster of the High School. The classes were housed in the premises of the Archdiocesan Social Wing - ‘Workers Centre.’ In 1973 they were shifted back to the newly constructed building.

Sr Agnella’s arrival on 9 June 1973 as the Headmistress of the fully established High School, gave a new impetus and the School started marching towards greater heights. Through her vision, passion and dedication she has left an indelible mark in the hearts of students and teachers and carved a niche in Bethany Educational Society. This great Stalwart and eminent educationist will continue to shine in the annals of Gulabi.

‘Gulabi’ continues to bloom and spread its fragrance far and near in the garden city of Bangalore. The students who have savoured the sweetness of this perfume spread it all over the land. Gulabi students guided by their teachers keep themselves abreast of times by involving actively in various movements like Science-Eco-Mathematics clubs, Sevadal and Bosco Kids and chanalise their energy creatively.

Gulabi School continues to fulfill the vision of its Founder by offering an education that fosters Fullness of Life at all levels especially to the poor, marginalized and the girls.

This being a Girls’ School, the young girls leave school fully empowered. That is the Good news! Gulabi School Shares.
